Financial Information
Seasonal members are financially responsible for the following:
Electric Bill
Berkshire campground is not responsible for issuing or paying
your monthly electric bill. It is your responsibility to have
the electric put into your name. We will give you the
information required to do this.
Seasonal Membership Dues
You
will not receive an invoice for your seasonal membership dues.
The amount of your membership depends on your specific lot.
There are three different categories of lots. If you are unsure
about how much your membership dues are, please contact
management. There are also several payment options for your
membership dues. These options are discussed in further detail
on the
payment
options page.
Lot Change/Trailer Moving Fee
Our
maintenance department charges $100.00 for moving any said
trailer. This includes moving a trailer from one lot to another,
or pulling the trailer off the lot all together (putting it in
storage, or pulling it up front to be taken out of the
campground). We must have 24 hours notice before we are able to
pull your trailer off the lot. Trailers will be moved Mondays -
Thursdays only. If you are leaving permanently, your account
must be current before your trailer will be moved. You will
receive this bill in the form of an invoice which will be dated
not more than two weeks after your trailer is moved off of said
lot. You will have 30 days from the issue date to pay this
invoice in full. If the invoice remains unpaid, on the 31st day,
a $10.00 late fee will be added to your account. For each month
the invoice remains unpaid, an additional $10.00 late fee will
be added to your account.
Lot Care
If at
any time our management sees your lot as unkempt, someone from
our grounds maintenance department will take care of your lot
for you, at your expense. We ask that you keep your lawn trimmed
and your lot clean. We are not overly picky about this, we just
want the grounds to look nice. If your lot is found to be
unkempt by management, you will be billed for the service of
having it taken care of for you. Generally, we charge $75.00 for
cleaning up a lot and $25.00 for mowing the lawn. You will be
billed for this when the service is completed, and will have 30
days from the issue date to pay this invoice in full. If the
invoice remains unpaid, on the 31st day, a $10.00 late fee will
be added to your account. For each month the invoice remains
unpaid, an additional $10.00 late fee will be added to your
account.
Payments
All
payments must be in the form of cash, money order, local check
(Central Ohio only), Visa, or MasterCard. Payment may be mailed
or dropped off to our record keeper (during regular camping
season she will be located at the camp office/store). Late fee
notices will be mailed out on the 6th day of each month. If we
receive your payment after this date via u.s. mail and it is
postdated on or before the 5th day of that month, your late fee
will be void. Feel free to call if you have a question as to
whether or not your payment was received, however be aware that
these uniform letters will be sent out promptly on the 6th day,
and that these letters will reflect our records as of that date.

2011 Seasonal Membership
Payment Options
A
one-year seasonal family membership includes two (2) adults and
up to three (3) children under the age of 18. Additional people
will be charged $100.00 each for the season. Your seasonal
membership will allow you to use our campground facility on
weekends, holidays, and other vacations. If you plan to stay at
the campground for more than 3 nights each week, you are
required to apply for monthly camping, as opposed to seasonal
camping. Management reserves the right to reject any
objectionable person and shall be the sole judge of whom is
objectionable.
Green
Lots
Plan
A:
$2,895.00 if paid in full on or before
April 1, 2011. Payable as follows: $599.00 deposit due
immediately to hold your lot, with the balance paid in full on
or before April 1, 2011. In order to get this price if you
arrive after April 1, 2011, you must pay the entire amount of
membership in full.
Plan
B:
$2,995.00 if paid in five payments of
$599.00, the first of which is a deposit due immediately to hold
your lot, with the following payments due on or before April 1,
May 1, June 1, and July 1, 2011. A late fee of $30.00 will be
applied to all payments received after the 5th of each month. If
payment is not received by the 5th day of the following month,
your seasonal membership may be revoked.
Blue
Lots
Plan
A: $1,725.00 if paid in full on
or before April 1, 2011. Payable as follows: $365.00 deposit due
immediately to hold your lot, with the balance paid in full on
or before April 1, 2011. In order to get this price if you
arrive after April 1, 2011, you must pay the entire amount of
membership in full.
Plan
B:
$1,825.00 if paid in five payments of
$365.00, the first of which is a deposit due immediately to hold
your lot, with the following payments due on or before April 1,
May 1, June 1, and July 1, 2011. A late fee of $30.00 will be
applied to all payments received after the 5th of each month. If
payment is not received by the 5th day of the following month,
your seasonal membership may be revoked.
Red
Lots
Plan
A:
$1,525.00 if paid in full on or before
April 1, 2011. Payable as follows: $319.00 deposit due
immediately to hold your lot, with the balance paid in full on
or before April 1, 2011. In order to get this price if you
arrive after April 1, 2011, you must pay the entire amount of
membership in full.
Plan
B: $1,625.00 if paid in five
payments of $319.00. The first of which is a deposit due
immediately to hold your lot, with the following payments due on
or before April 1, May 1, June 1, and July 1, 2011. A late fee
of $30.00 will be applied to all payments received after the 5th
of each month. If payment is not received by the 5th day of the
following month, your seasonal membership may be revoked.
